EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy used in trauma treatment.
It helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or intrusive. Rather than repeatedly talking through events in detail, EMDR works by activating the brain’s natural processing system while you remain grounded and supported.
EMDR is widely used in trauma therapy worldwide.
