Many of my clients are competent, capable, and outwardly coping, often managing significant responsibility in their work and personal lives.
Counselling isn’t about falling apart. It’s about having a space where you don’t have to hold it all together, and where you can think clearly about what’s going on beneath the surface.
Counselling for people who function well and want to feel well too.
Helping You Step Into a Life That Feels True
You deserve a life that feels authentic, grounded, and genuinely your own. Not one shaped by pressure, expectations, or the need to keep everything together.
As a counsellor, I help people like you become more self-reflective, self-assured, and at peace with themselves. Together, we work toward a life that’s not just lived, but deeply felt, enjoyed, and embraced.
What If You Could Feel:
More connected to your own thinking and instincts
Clearer and more confident in your decisions
More at ease in yourself
Less driven by pressure, expectation, or old patterns
Is This Right For Me?
In my counselling I often support adults who are thoughtful, capable, and carrying significant responsibility, both professionally and personally. Many are navigating the impact of trauma, cumulative stress, or long-standing relational patterns, and are seeking support that respects their intelligence, autonomy, and lived experience.
Therapy isn’t just for crises. It’s for people who want to understand themselves more clearly and live with greater intention, clarity, and self-trust.
You might be here because:
You feel like you’ve lost touch with yourself, your needs, or your sense of direction
You’re constantly second-guessing, overthinking, or putting others first
You’re carrying old stories or emotional patterns that don’t feel like you anymore
You’re navigating a big life transition such as a relationship shift, career change, motherhood, or something harder to name
You’ve done some inner work before, but want to go deeper, with support that truly sees you
You’re used to being the one others rely on, and don’t often have space for yourself
Or maybe you just have a quiet sense that there’s more to life than what you’re currently experiencing. More peace. More connection. More self-trust.
If any of this resonates, you're in the right place. You don’t need to have it all figured out before starting. You just need to be curious, open, and willing to explore.

Core Areas of Expertise
Communication & Being Understood
Many people come to therapy feeling unheard, misunderstood, or unsure how to express their needs. Especially in environments where unbalanced power dynamics have played a role.
We work on:
- Understanding yourself and others more clearly
- Naming and challenging unfair or dismissive treatment
- Developing assertiveness that’s grounded in compassion
- Rebuilding your sense of confidence, value, and clarity in how you show up in the world
Relationships & Patterns
Whether it’s work, family, friendship, or intimacy, relationships shape our lives, and sometimes they challenge our sense of self.
We explore:
- Power dynamics and how they play out in different roles
- Building and maintaining healthy, fulfilling connections
- Identifying repeating patterns that leave you feeling drained, dismissed, or stuck
- Learning to set boundaries without guilt
Complex Trauma
Childhood Trauma
Our earliest environments shape how we relate to ourselves and others, even decades later. No experience is too small or too big to bring into the room. What matters is the impact it’s had on your life.
Together we can gently explore and heal from:
- Emotional, physical, or sexual abuse
- Neglect, instability, or feeling unseen in your family system
- Divorce, blended families, or unpredictable caregiving
- Shame, self-blame, or identity confusion that may linger today
Adult Trauma
Experiences in adulthood can also leave deep marks, especially when trust, safety, or autonomy have been violated.
You might be processing:
- Coercive control or emotionally abusive relationships
- Physical, financial and other hallmark abuse found in dangerous relationships
- Sexual assault or unwanted sexual experiences
- Stalking or persistent violations of boundaries
- The ongoing effects of living in survival mode
This work is done with care, attunement, and a strong emphasis on creating emotional safety.
Single Event Trauma
Sometimes one moment such as an accident, a diagnosis, a loss, or a major life change, can shake your sense of stability or identity.
We’ll work on:
- Processing the emotional shock of these experiences
- Understanding their ongoing effects on your body, mind, and relationships
- Finding grounding, meaning, and ways to move forward
Counselling Services
Individual Therapy
I provide online, individual counselling for adults who are capable, high-functioning, and often carrying more than most people realise. Many of my clients work in high-pressure or frontline roles, are navigating the impacts of trauma or crisis, or are experiencing strain that isn’t always visible from the outside.
My approach is person-centred and evidence-informed, drawing on a range of therapeutic frameworks, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), a well-researched and highly effective approach for trauma. Sessions are practical, thoughtful, and grounded in your real-world context. I support trauma recovery, emotional regulation, clearer communication, and a stronger sense of stability and self-trust.
This work is not about fixing you. It’s about creating space to understand what you’ve been holding, and supporting meaningful, sustainable change. Sometimes that involves working through your significant life history, sometimes it does not.
Telehealth Counseling
I am currently exclusively providing therapy via an online telehealth platform.
Online therapy offers a space that’s just as meaningful, supportive, and transformative as in-person work. For many people, it can actually feel more accessible and comfortable.
Research* has shown that online therapy is just as effective as face-to-face sessions for many concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. What matters most is the quality of the therapeutic relationship. And that connection can be deeply felt, even across a screen.
In fact, many clients find that being in their own familiar space helps them feel more at ease, more open, and better able to integrate insights into their day-to-day life.
I offer online sessions that are:
Secure and confidential
Flexible around your schedule and location
A safe space to explore what matters most, at your pace
Whether you're at home, at work, or simply prefer the convenience and privacy of logging in from your own space, online therapy can be a powerful step forward. You will need to ensure you have a private space where you won't be interrupted or overheard to ensure you confidently engage in session without those concerns.

Sessions are 50-60 minutes.

Some clients also benefit from professional supervision, particularly if their work involves supporting others or operating in high-pressure environments.
